I’ve been thinking that writing in Baybayin takes a lot of strokes just to write one character. So I tried to simplify them just a little, but they still look the same. Before I did this, I searched for “Baybayin in Cursive” but unfortunately, it wasn’t very successful. There wasn’t enough post or blogs that talks about it.
So after I searched for it, I tried to make my own “Cursive” like way of writing Baybayin. More like simplifying it to lessen the strokes needed. And gladly, I was a little bit successful on some characters. I’m going to show you it now
It is only up to you if you wanna use it or not. It is just my thoughts to lessen the strokes needed to write one character. I hope that this is helpful.
Just a reminder before I start so you would know what the pictures indicate.
1. I wrote this with my left hand so the strokes are for left handers and it probably would feel a little weird when you write it with your right hand. But it should do.
2. The RED DOT (.) indicates where I started drawing/writing.
3. And the symbol “>” indicates where the line ended.
4. You don’t have to use it if you don’t want to. It’s just only my way of writing to make it easier for me

Okays anyway, here goes…

There you go
And sorry for the ugly quality of the pictures, I only did it on paint heeheehee
I’m so happy that I thought about this… (at least) but I wasn’t very successful with the characters “Ga” and “Nga”. I filled like 1 whole page of A4 paper practicing and thinking about how I could simplify it… I thought of something, but it just looks so different already and it looks ugly… so I didn’t continue. I also tried simplifying “A” and “I/E” but it’s just looks so different as well.. so I stopped drawing
If you thought of something though. SHARE it
Ok Thanks for reading! HOpe that this was helpful to some peeps
